How do I run a custom procedure with the elevated access

Introduction:

In ITSM, We can run the Custom Procedures with the Elevated access(System user) and the Non - Elevated access(Login user) over the enrolled devices.

 

Run the Custom Procedures in two ways:

1. To run the Procedures from the Procedures menu.

2. To run the Procedures from the Device Management.

 

1. To run the Procedures from the Procedures menu:

Step [1a]: Click Configuration Templates → Procedures

In Procedures menu, It will list all the existing Procedures, which were created by the user.

 

Step [1b]: In Run Procedure Popup, We should choose any one of the two different Devices and Access levels separately.

Note: Procedures works only on the online devices.

 

2. To run the Procedures from the Device Management.

Step [2a]: In Device management, we can select the specific device and run the Procedure.

 

Step [2b]: We should select the Procedure from the drop-down list, select the access level and run it.

 

Note: We can select only the 'Approved''  procedures. Please ensure that your procedures have been approved before running it.
