How To Analyse Audit Logs On Comodo One Portal

Comodo ONE Portal

Comodo One portal provides new features  to store audit logs.For now, we can store the logs for following actions:

  • o Audit Logs for Account MSP/Enterprise Create.
  • o Audit logs for Login and Logout.
  • o Audit Logs for Customer Create/update/Delete.
  • o Audit Logs for Staff Create/update/Delete.
  • o Audit Logs for Role Create/update/Delete.
  • o Audit Logs for Change on "Two Factor Authentication Settings".
  • o Audit Logs for Change on "Scheduled Report".
  • o Audit Logs for Module purchase on store and license add on existing module cWatch.
  • o Audit Logs for the Service desk.

1. To view Audit Logs:

  • In Comodo One portal Goto "Management" Tab and select the "Audit Logs" option.


  • After Clicking "Audit Logs" option we can view the all audit logs on Comodo One portal  like the image attached below.

CUSTOMER: It will list the Name of the Account Admin.

LOG CREATION DATE: It will display log creation time with the date.

STAFF: It will list all the staff name associated with the account and we can view the staff details by clicking specific staff name.

COMPONENT NAME: It will display the name of components of Comodo One portal.

EVENT NAME: It will display actions corresponding to the staff.

AFFECTED OBJECT: This field list the device id in which the process executed and view the device status by clicking device id.

ACTION TYPE: It shows the Type of Action they done in the portal.

OLD VALUE: The value of this field will list the state before the action occurs.

NEW VALUE: The value of this field will list the state after the action complete.

EXTRA INFO: This category will display the detailed information of the process. Session ID: It will list in this field.

3. Filter Audit Logs

In "Audit logs" have different options to view audit data on the Comodo One portal. The options are explained on the following:

  • Time Range
  • Advanced Query
  • Manage Query
  • Search

In Time Range Option we can select the Range of the date we want to view the audit data within the Given Range
By Clicking The Calender Symbol we can select wanted time range of the audit data by selecting the following option:

  • Last 7 days
  • Last 3 days
  • Today


Click "Advanced Query" Tab to view all options of advanced query

 "Advanced Query" option has more options to search the data

  • Advanced Query Name
  • Customer
  • Component
  • Event Name
  • Action Type
  • Staff

Advanced Query Name: we can any give name as per our wish for the future identification.

Customer: Give the customer name of the account.

Component: Select the preferred component exactly we needed the audit data using this query.

Event Name: Select the preferred event name exactly we needed the audit data using this query.

Action Type: Select the preferred Action Type exactly we needed the audit data using this query.

Staff: Select the preferred Staff exactly you needed the audit data using this query.

After Updating all the information in the Advanced Query we have done to operation:

  • search
  • save

If we select search Option Then we get the audit data information based on the query at the time.
If we select the save option Then we can use that Query for future purpose by using manage query option.

Manage query :

Go to "Audit Logs" and select "Manage query" , select the name of the query and click the "select and search" to view audit logs based on the managed query.

4. Export Audit logs :

This option will export the audit data logs into csv documents and also we can store them internally.

Now you can view the Audit data logs as a Document file Like the Below Screenshot.

5. Customize Audit logs:

This option is used to customize the Audit Table columns  of the Audit Logs.

  • Select "Customize" option  to change the audit table columns and choose the required values and Click "save".

  •  Now you will see the changes in the Audit  Logs like the image attached below.
