The 'Patch Management' feature automates the deployment of operating system patches to managed Windows devices. ITSM checks Microsoft servers for available Windows patches and lists them in the interface.
ITSM shows details about each patch, including patch classification, the Windows component to which it applies, release date, severity, previous versions, Microsoft bulletins and number of endpoints which require the patch.
You can deploy patches to devices as required. You can install multiple patches on a device simultaneously. You can filter patches by multiple criteria, including company and device group.
Process in brief
Log into C1 then click ‘Applications’ > ‘IT and Security Manager’
Click 'Devices' > 'Device List'
Click the 'Device Management' tab above the control buttons
Click the name of a Windows device to open its details page
Select the 'Patch Management' tab
Click the 'Operating System' tab and choose the patches you want to install
Click 'Install Patches'.

Click ‘Check Available Updates’ to view outstanding updates for the device:
Optional. You can filter patches by title, KB, bulletin, classification, severity and more. This allows you to prioritize which patches you want to install.

Step 4: Select the patches you wish to install then click the ‘Install Patch(es)’ button
Status will change to ‘Installed’ when the deployment is complete:
