How to install Comodo Client Security from status icon inside Device List


Summary

  • Login to C1

  • Click 'Applications' > 'IT and Security Manager'

  • Click 'Devices' > 'Device List'

  • Click the yellow shield icon  next to a device name to install CCS

Open ITSM

  • Login to Comodo ONE with your user name and password at https://one.comodo.com/app/login

  • Click 'Applications' > 'ITSM and Security Manager' to open the ITSM module

Install CCS

  • Open ITSM > Click 'Devices' > 'Device List'

  • The device list shows all devices that have been added to ITSM

  • Hover your mouse cursor over the icon  beside the device

  • You will see the following message: 'CCS is not installed. Click here to install '

  • Click the shield icon to start the installation

  • Configure the install at the install packages dialog:

Install Comodo Client - Security - Available for endpoints that do not have CCS installed.

Reboot options - You need to restart the endpoint to complete CCS installation. You have the following reboot options:

    • Force reboot in - Restart the device a certain length of time after installation. Choice of 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes. The device will restart automatically when the time elapses.

    • Suppress the reboot - Do not restart the device after installation. CCS will only become fully functional after the device is restarted

    • Warn about the reboot and let users postpone it - Show a message to the end-user which advises them that their computer needs to be restarted. You can type a custom message for the user:

      • Reboot message - Enter a custom message which is shown to the user
